I am an academic librarian at SUNY Oneonta who is passionate about technology, accessibility, information literacy, and storytelling whether in the classroom, online, or in gaming.

I am honored to be named as the 2024-2025 Milne Library Scholar of the Year! I'm excited that my scholarship is receiving this professional recognition and look forward to continuing my work.

In June 2025, I launched a research database - Transcripts of Tamriel: The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) Roleplay (RP) Database - hosted and supported by the State University of New York at Oneonta. This project also led to the creation of the Milne Library Digital Humanities Internship, which gives two currently enrolled SUNY students up to three credits per semester to contribute to the database's ongoing development.

I have appreciated the overwhelmingly positive response the database has received from the academic community. I am encouraged by the number of scholars who see its value and I'm excited to hear how colleagues will be incorporating the database into their courses and research.

“Not everybody will get it. People will misinterpret you and what you do. They might even call you names. So get comfortable with being misunderstood, disparaged, or ignored — the trick is to be too busy doing your work to care.”
— Austin Kleon
