ipl2 Reference Administrator
Reference Administrators at the ipl2 staff "on-duty" shifts where they process incoming reference questions in order to have them answered in a timely manner by Information and Library Science students. Mentoring students is valuable part of the experience since, by teaching reference skills, RA's learn as well.
I am currently volunteering as a Reference Administrator for the ipl2. My work includes both processing incoming reference questions and mentoring students in their reference work. I have previously held an internship through ipl2 as a Digital Reference Service Intern and also worked as a Library Student Volunteer, answering reference questions for patrons.
