ipl2 Reference Specialist
Shortly after joining the ipl2 team as a Reference Administrator Volunteer, I was promoted to Reference Specialist, handling complex reference questions that need to be answered quickly. The work is challenging but also rewarding and helps to strengthen skills such as speed and efficiency.
I currently volunteer as a Reference Specialist while also fulfilling my duties as a Reference Administrator. Answering difficult reference questions quickly is the main focus of the work, but also includes instructing users on how to locate and evaluate information and referring them to external information sources when required.
